The Waukesha County Center for Growth is pleased to announce a $500,000 investment from Landmark Credit Union to its GROW Fund.
Established in 2019, the GROW Fund was created to provide access to financial resources to enable business expansion and attraction. The GROW Fund assists businesses essential to the economic development of Waukesha County including manufacturing, service, and other commercial establishments looking to expand operations or invest in new operations in the county. It also benefits developers with projects that improve available affordable housing stock to meet the housing needs of existing and projected workforce growth.
“Landmark Credit Union’s investment in the GROW Fund directly supports the retention and expansion of local businesses,” said Therese Thill, Executive Director for the Waukesha County Center for Growth. “By providing capital to manufacturers, service providers, and developers, the fund helps create and retain jobs, encourages thoughtful development, and drives long-term economic growth throughout Waukesha County.”
“We are committed to local business growth and supporting job creation in Waukesha and beyond,” said Mark Kennedy, Chief Lending Officer at Landmark Credit Union. “With this investment, we will help to improve the community’s economic well-being and fuel the growth of businesses in a meaningful way. This aligns with our philosophy of supporting the communities in which we live and work and is something Landmark has been committed to for more than 90 years.”
